Home has always meant more to me than just a roof over my head.
I’ve spent much of my life striving to understand the dynamics of a home. With a degree in psychology and a certified life coach, my first passion has always been understanding people, relationships, and personal development.
Buying and selling a home can be the most stressful experience people have – ranked just behind death and divorce. My vision of what a home is, coupled with my background, helps me guide people through the home-buying process as smoothly as possible.
I like getting to know my clients on a personal level, so here’s a little bit about me. I’ve been married to an educator for over 20 years and spent more than a decade as an elementary school librarian. I have a deep love and appreciation for the education community, as well as, a desire to help the people around me learn and grow.
Raising two children and adapting to where all the stages of life have taken us, I understand the transitions that happen as a family moves from one phase to another. Changes are a part of life, and right-sizing a home to fit your needs is part of the adventure.
Stress? I know the stress of moving first hand! I’ve moved at least 8 times in adulthood. I’m flipping my second house and have worked with numerous clients who either flip to sell, flip to rent, or have purchased vacation homes. As our children launch into adulthood, my husband Andy and I are in the midst of a slow transition from Lansing to Montague, Michigan. We love exploring Lake Michigan towns! Many continue to be our ‘go-to’ vacation destinations.
These things combined have led me to help people find not just houses, but homes. A Realtor since 2015, there is nothing else I want to do more than help you find the home you’ve been wishing for.
